On some
occasions and when particular
circumstances warrant it,
Remembering may establish a special
public memorial where communities
have experienced significant hurt.
Thankfully such events are rare.
Public memorials of this type are
established without charge as a
special service by Remembering to
enable the public to support
families deeply in grief.
Such memorials have restricted
features and can in no way replace
the value received by families
establishing their own private
memorial where close friends and
family members may gather in mutual
support.
